Christmas is a special time of year. We love the family times together, yummy food, decorating, and giving to others! But the reason we find enjoyment in those things is because of the hope and peace that Christ gives.
Even though we are in the golden years of life we still remember the deep hopelessness we had before knowing Christ. No matter what we filled our lives with we could not find the peace within that we longed for. But Christ made the difference. Because God gave His Son we can have life. A beautiful, familiar verse that we love, says it so well:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
We celebrate Christ’s birth and praise Him for the love, peace and eternal hope that He offers freely to all. We pray you will have a very blessed Christmas filled with the hope and peace of Christ and a wonderful 2015!
