Classes are in full swing! We are in our fourth week and it's going well. The freshmen are responding great to the Personal Evangelism class. Dick has had several students come by who either did not know Christ or who had no assurance of their salvation. What a joy to see their eager and open hearts and such a privilege to share God’s amazing grace with them.
I am enjoying my Women Teaching Women II class. This class of juniors is a great group, and they will soon begin giving their messages. My group will meet at our house, which I loves because I get to make coffee and goodies for them. They love the warm atmosphere of a home and it's special having them.
I am also leading a prayer group this year. It provides such a great opportunity to be personally involved in the lives of students and offer encouragement and challenges for them to grow in their walk with Christ.
We have enjoyed our Spiritual Emphasis Week with Garry Koon, pastor of Georgetown Bible Church in Hudsonville, Michigan, and he was well received by the students.
Our Frontier Ministry Fair exposed students to different ministry opportunities they can become involved in while attending Frontier. It's a great way for them to hear of varied types of ministries, get information and have their questions answered. Our students are very involved in ministry, and we love that. This week we are having our Rural Home Missions Conference with different speakers in chapel and multiple workshops on the schedule.
September 25th thru 27th was Frontier Focus with the theme Get Anchored — Are you anchored so that you’re ready for the storms of life? Are you anchored so that you're not blown around by every wind of doctrine? Frontier Focus is a weekend to experience college life and to see if Frontier might be the next step in life.
